Coming out of my winter hibernation, I decided to make some stylish tags that are extremely simple to make. I am using paper from 49 and Market, which is a beautiful, thick cardstock suitable for mixed media projects. The sheet I chose is from an earlier collection called Scents of Nature; the paper is Clockworks. There are a number of images on the page. Both tags are 6x3.25 inch. Both tags, made from the same paper, have a completely different look!
For the Clockworks tag, I cut the tag on the large clock image, and added some hand rolled roses, a few copper adhesive dots and used the name on the paper as a sentiment tag. Everything was edged with a distress ink in a mix of Wilted Violet and Vintage Photo,
For the Nothing but Blue Skies tag, I fuzzy cut one of the smaller clock images to place on the tag, distressed everything in Broken China, then added a lattice border cut from the opposite side of the page which is a luscious blue color, a copper vellum sentiment and some tiny fabric flowers.
You can cut your own flowers, or use anything you may have on hand. Add some thick and colorful ribbon to finish off your project. I always like to have a few tags on hand for last minute gifts.
