Luna Halloween

Luna, from Prima Marketing, is one of the cutest Halloween collections I have seen. It has soft orange and pink, chocolate brown, sweet witches and not so scary images. Being that it is a more feminine line, I challenged myself to make a few cards that would also be suitable for boys. What do you think?

Card on the left:

I used a stencil to create a textured brick outline, tore the top edge of the paper and backed it onto a piece of peach cardstock. I added a glittered witch from Little Birdie and cut a bat from black glitter paper.

Cat, pumpkin and ghosts were fussy cut from the Luna cardstock. These witch embellishments from Little Birdie are perfect. Stencil is from My Favorite Things. To create the dimension, I used DecoArt Gesso, let dry and covered it roughly with Black Soot Distress Ink. The other distress ink I used on the card is Carved Pumpkin.

Card on the right:

I added a glittery witch and cat silhouette from Little Birdie, and some tags from Graphic 45. Again, a bat cut from black glitter paper.

I used lots of distress ink, in Black Soot and Carved Pumpkin. The bat die is old and very well used from QuicKutz. Card base for both cards is Bazzill Basics Card Shoppe cardstock, Circus Peanuts.

Halloween is coming fast. I don't think I will decorate this year - but may bake a few scary treats for family trick or treaters. I do have packaged candy for the others...
