Great embellishment for the skier in your family.  The assembled poles measure approximately 8 inches tall; elements are precision cut and pop out for layering.  They have silver for the shaft, red for the strap, grip and basket.  Black fits behind the color. 
Tip:  I used a set for pocket scrapbooking, cutting to fit each pocket so the poles formed a side border.  They looked really cool on a clear acrylic backing!
