Museums on a Rainy Day

The rain continued as we journeyed westward through Newfoundland's stunning and untamed landscapes, as you can see from our visit to Terra Nova National Park. The Visitor Information Center provided us with maps, insights, and uniquely Newfoundland storytelling. Along the highway, we were lucky to observe two black bears. (Coming from the mountains, we knew not to stop for photos.)

The following day, we ventured to Twillingate, hoping to glimpse some icebergs. Instead, we discovered two museums and delved into the past. Our first exploration was at the Wooden Boat Museum, which showcased a diverse collection of boats, artwork, and history. Next, we visited the Durrell Museum & Brigade Artisan Shoppe, home to antiques, military memorabilia, and local arts and crafts.

As you can see, I like to tear paper.
