I am finally getting some scrapbooking done, and am a few years behind in hockey. This one is from 2020/2021 season. I did not get many pictures, as games were cancelled for much of the year, but I do have a favorite player and he always gets center stage in my scrapbook.
For this layout I started with an embossed cardstock from Craft Smith. The graph paper is a metallic, which does not show its beauty in the photo. It is from Prima Marketing, Pretty in Pale collection. I used a few journal tags from Echo Park's Hockey collection kit and added a red glitter frame (left over die cut from Christmas...). The letters were in my stash - yes, I am still working through my stash.
This next page shows the same boy, one year later. He is turning into quite a strapping boy, I must say. I used Bazzill Basics as the background, added some journal tags from Echo Park and Reminisce hockey collections, a few strips of foil cardstock, and maple leaf brads from my stash. This is a mix of photos and newspaper clippings. I always keep a supply of laminating paper to protect the newspaper clippings.
That gets me up to date on hockey. Next project to tackle is school, before I loose track of the years!
